Amadiba leaves hand-built rotas behind and releases shifts in one click, to spend that time on the people it cares for.
Amadiba is a non-profit in Mallorca, Spain, that has supported people with intellectual disabilities and people in vulnerable situations throughout their lives since 1995. They needed to automate an entirely manual process for rotas, clocking in and time and attendance. With TramitApp they did it without losing their warmth, and with constant support from the technical team.

The challenge: automating the manual process without losing the warmth
Amadiba was founded in 1995 by families of people with intellectual disabilities. Three decades on, the organisation has expanded into more services: it also supports people in vulnerable situations, especially around training and employment, and trains care professionals through its vocational courses in care for dependent people.
That growth had a clear bottleneck: rotas, clocking in and time and attendance were all handled entirely by hand. When they got in touch with TramitApp, what they needed was to change that whole process and automate it, both for time and attendance and for managing rotas. And sudden staff absences — the key piece of a service that cannot afford to fail — were especially hard to cover in time.
“We kept thinking: how are we going to change everything? And the reality is it turned out to be far simpler than we thought.”
The solution: rota planning with the shift release button
What convinced Amadiba was finding such a complete piece of software and, above all, how rota planning worked: the “magic button” to release shifts. They were wary of moving all their history over to a new platform, but the tool turned out to be far more intuitive than expected, and they had the support of the technical team every step of the way.
Today they centralise in TramitApp the time and attendance and rota planning for their team, plus day-to-day document management: requesting an absence (for a house move, say), logging sick leave, uploading documents or checking a payslip, all from the same app.
Result Shifts covered in one click, with no last-minute calls, and the time that used to go into building rotas is now spent on the people they care for and listening more to their staff.
Before
- Rotas, clocking in and time and attendance, all by hand
- Sudden absences were very hard to cover in time
- Some wariness about moving all their rota history to a new platform
With TramitApp
- Shift release: in one click, the whole team knows which shift needs covering
- Built-in document management: absences, sick leave, documents and payroll from the same app
- An easier rollout than expected, with constant support from the technical team
In their own words
“What convinced us about TramitApp was that it was such a complete piece of software. And above all how rota planning worked, the magic button, releasing shifts.”
“Our day-to-day use of TramitApp has been like a before and after. All the time we no longer spend organising rotas is time we can spend on the people we work with, caring for them and looking after them better.”
“You can do everything from TramitApp: if you need a day off for a house move you request it there, same for sick leave or uploading documents. And they send you your payslip.”
